Growing up in New Bedford, MA, New York City and Oakland A-Dot gained a fond appreciation for different styles of Hip-Hop at a young age. He’s used this appreciation for the art form to help him become who he is today. He’s been the voice of the WREKroom Renaissance, a hip-hop radio show he co-founded with DJ Enchantd on 91.1 WREK FM, for over 10 years now. Through the Wrekroom, A-Dot has interviewed many of his childhood idols and many current hip-hop icons including: Slum Village, Jeru The Damaja, Wise Intelligent, AZ, Souls of Mischief, Jim Jones, Young Dro, Keri Hilson and many others. He has also hosted events for 5 Star Generals including Club Odyssey and the Chocolate Flower Series at Apace Cafe in Atlanta, as well as many others. As one of the founding hosts and producers of 5 Star Radio, A-Dot conducts smooth and witty interviews with guests that run through WREK while getting to the heart of what folks really want to know, but are afraid to ask. The artists feel comfortable and often divulge anything he asks – just a sign of how much A-Dot is a pro in the game of radio.
