Rhythm is one of the most sought after MCs and DJs in the nation. He has been spinning in Atlanta for over 15 years and has been featured at such hot spots as Opera, Lava, Compound and The W Hotel Midtown. His versatile style has earned the support from people all over the US. Spinning everything from the underground hip-hop classics to the hot club joints, deep soulful house, (Chicago native), to head bangin’ club remixes and old skool to new skool, his music knowledge and top song selection enables him to rock any crowd at any time.
He toured with the, 2002 and 2003, Sprite Liquid Mix Tour as the official headlining DJ for Sprite, opening for the likes of Hoobastank, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Talib Kweli, The Roots, OAR, Skillz, N.E.R.D., Nappy Roots, 311, Jay-Z and special guests, Usher and Clipse. He has also rocked the house opening for such artists as, Ashley Simpson, Ryan Cabrera, Cherie, Toby Lightman and more on the national Simon DTour Live tour. Rhythm also was a headlining MC/DJ for Music Midtown (2003-2005), the Southeast’s largest outdoor music festival. Rhythm also toured as the Official DJ for the Cingular Wireless “Only Music” Tour, which featured such artists as Trey Songz, The Academy Is…, Matt Nathanson, and many more. For those ATLiens, Rhythm has just been added as the new mix Dj for 95.5 The Beat, with a weekly residencies @ the hottest clubs in the ATL.
Rhythm has even taken his skills abroad to rock the overseas crowds, as well. He was a featured American DJ on the Fonky EU Club series, which toured Finland and Estonia. He also opened for the world famous, Mix Master Mike, for the grand opening of The Loft in Atlanta. and made his silver screen debut as the featured DJ in Dreamworks comedy hit, Road Trip.
DJ Rhythm is also featured on the hit MTV series ” My Super Sweet 16″, where he rocks one of the hottest Super Sweet 16 parties ever. Make sure you check out the Erica Price episode now airing on MTV.
Rhythm just wrapped up his 3rd national tour with ESPN The Magazine as the Headlining DJ for the 2008 Gridiron Blowout Tour. Rhythm rocked some of the biggest college football tailgate parties across the nation, and on New Year’s Day, will rock da spot for the 2nd year in a row at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
